Three women (Cher, Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer), who are all successful in their jobs but less so in their relationships, find out they are witches. When a sexy but mysterious stranger (Jack Nicholson) arrives and attempts to bed all three of them, it becomes clear they are not the only supernaturally gifted entities about. But if they want to defeat this particular man, the three women will have to work together, and he is very intent on driving a wedge between them.
