In a nameless, typical southern European holiday resort in which tourists vacation in luxurious club hotels, young Amram from Senegal is fighting for survival. 13 year old Claire wants to support him and uncovers life behind the resort facades, while her sister and mother remain in their exclusive bubble at the pool and refrain from dealing with their environment. Enchantingly beautiful, surreal landscape images pervade the sensitively made film – images in which all borders are blurred.
