The sca­le of which is deter­mi­ned by the prot­ago­nist, but the roles can quick­ly be flip­ped. The chain of ven­ge­an­ce can go on and on and, unless bro­ken, lead to ever escala­ting cala­mi­ty. Art is the only pos­si­bi­li­ty to era­se reven­ge.
