Zeiss-Großplanetarium

Time Travel

Until March the Cinema in the Zeiss Observatory will be showing a number of films looking at time travel in all its variations. Some of them are based on well-researched scientific facts (INTERSTELLAR) and some just use it as the backdrop for a romantic comedy (GROUNDHOG DAY).
Unfortunately, both of these films will be shown dubbed into German, which is a marvellous opportunity to practice your listening comprehension but might not be what you are after.
But good news everyone: Both LOOPER, a scifi-neo-noir in which Joseph Gordon Levitt and Bruce Willis play the same character at different ages, and the trippy 80-nostalgia-infused DONNIE DARKO will be shown in the original language with German subtitles.
And the cherry on top will be the danish PARENTS (2016, OV with english subtitles) about a couple who relive their youth after sending their offspring off to university. It turns out that nostalgia has a dark side.

You can find the complete schedule here (in German).
