Doris Wishman began her career with nudist films of naked women in a nudist camp while lounge music was playing in the background. Then Wishman had the idea to put the nudist camp on the moon, where astronauts observe naked women throwing balls at each other. A legendary career began that led to classics like CHESTY MORGAN: DEADLY WEAPONS and DOUBLE AGENT 73. Brotfabrik Kino will start their Doris Wishman series in May. Wishman, also known as the “Queen of Trash” (1912-2002), is a director who can’t be easily categorized in a feminist context.
