Ever since the beginning of the lockdown, the Gruppe Karin Dor (Simon Dickel and Martin Erlenmaier) have photographed closed cinemas with creative messages on their billboards and invited people worldwide to send their photos as well. There are now more than 60 cinema images on their website sleepingscreens.com. You can see a selection of these in July at two exhibitions: the Sleeping Screens exhibit will open at Bundesplatz Kino on Wednesday July 1st at 18:00 and at Kino Traumstern in Lich on July 10th at 19:00.
