„Diffraktion” is a yearly exhibition of the LaborBerlin Filmmakers Collective.
On March 2nd they are showing films and installations by members and friends of the collective, as well as performances by Alex MacKenzie (Canada) and Jürgen Reble (Germany).

As a memorial for LaborFilm member Nikolaus Tscheschner there will be a full-length screening of his 16mm-documentary KALMENHOFKINDER – ERMORDET UND VERGESSEN.
The Kalmenhof was a boarding school for slow students. As part of the Aktion T4 it was turned into "intermediate accomodation" for children with learning disabilities who were subsequently sent to the "killing centre" at Hadamar or killed locally by medical personnel using starvation or overdoses.



LaborBerlin is a collectively organised film laboratory open to everyone interested in working with photo chemical film from an experimental DIY angle.
