In April and May, “Best of Cinema“ returns to blockbuster thrillers with Matthieu Kassovitz's THE CRIMSON RIVERS (2000) and Walter Hill's RED HEAT (1988). In the former, Jean Reno plays a taciturn detective investigating a serial killer in the French Alps. A young Vincent Cassel, his hotheaded assistant, stands in his way. In the latter, Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Moscow narcotics officer Ivan Danko, who travels to the USA on the trail of a drug lord and must work with an American cop (James Belushi).
