In the later stages of a cataclysmic war between humans and the machines, a bereaved veteran Special-Ops operative (John David Washington, TENET) is sent to destroy the AI's creator and his weapon which may well decide the war. Things turn out to be more complicated than planned as the weapon is in the shape of a young child, and our hero's lost love was involved in the AI-side's resistance movement.

Visually stunning sci-fi with shades of BLADE RUNNER as well as APOCALYPSE NOW. The story does not quite live up to the initial premise but the film packs more than enough of a visual punch to make up for that.
