PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK is one of the most often requested films in our series, so here it is. It may be debatable whether PICNIC actually is a horror movie, but it certainly influenced more modern (i.e. Post-PSYCHO) horror movies than most other films. A group of girls disappears during an outing. Weird stuff went on when they disappeared. Obviously some kind of evil is at work in this mellow, slow chiller. Not for the action or body horror crowd, but essential viewing nonetheless.
