Misery
A bestselling author (James Caan) has a car accident during a blizzard but is rescued by nurse Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates) who is a massive fan of his "Misery"-novels. While the author reuperates, Annie peeks at the manuscript for the latest and supposedly final instalment. Unhappy with the book, she incarcerates her former idol and forces him to write the book anew.
The role won Kathy Bates an Academy Award.
