Nour is 14 and lives with his three older brothers and his terminally ill mother in a French working-class settlement by the sea. The long summer holidays lay ahead of him and he has to spend them doing community service at his own school. While painting a wall, he meets the opera singer Sarah, who is leading a singing class during the holidays. A whole new world opens up for Nour, difficult to reconcile with his everyday life between his brothers' petty criminal activities and caring for his mother.
