ZA SHASTEM, Dmitri Sidirov‘s last film before his early death at 53, won the Pavel Krogan Prize in St. Petersburg in 2015. The documentary co-directed by Svetlana Demidova follows architect Akesander, who fled the hustle and bustle of the city to live in isolated Caucasus with his wife Marina and their son Ilya. When the internet offers them a connection to the outside world again, the Ukraine conflict nearby invades their idyllic life.
