Christoph Hochhäusler's noir thriller was one of the best-looking films at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival. Undercover cop Robert and parolee Leni are posing as a couple in order to get close to drug dealer Victor. When Leni still identified as a man, she used to work for Victor, and Robert was in love with her. And his feelings have not fully disappeared yet.
As the plot thickens and intensifies, loyalties are tested and trust is betrayed in this Fassbinder-like story of desire and violence.

Leni actress Thea Ehre won the Silver Bear at the Berlinale for her performance.
