The “Russian Season“ brings together Russian auteur filmmakers that made their first film in the 2000s with German directors. In November Nikolay Khomeriki and Isabelle Stever will have a discussion. The works of both of them will be shown in the cinema before their talk which will take place at 19:00 in the Brotfabrik gallery. At 15:00, GISELA (G 2005) takes an intense look at neighbors Georg, Paul and the supermarket cashier Gisela who is idolized by both of them. At 17:00 A TALK OF THE DARKNESS (RU 2009) follows police woman Angelina in Vladivostok as she one day realizes just how lonely she is.
