In 1980 musician and candlemaker Klaus Beyer began to translate the songs of his favorite band The Beatles into German for his mother. A little while later he made his first videos on super 8 which Beyer also showed at the documenta. From 1989 to 1991 Beyer filmed all 30 songs in the Beatles double album “White Album“ from 1968. Brotfabrik Kino is showing the result of the animated and live action films, from the silhouette films (Cry Baby Cry) to stand-alone experimental films (Revolution #9) on September 27th at 21:30. Klaus Beyer‘s manager Frank Behnke will be in attendance.
