After escaping from the death marches, a group of young former inmates of Groß-Rosen concentration camp find themselves holed up in an old castle. Their refuge holds no food or water while the woods outside are littered with mutilated corpses. Supposedly these are the victims of SS soldiers who turn into werewolves. The truth is far less mythical but just as deadly.
