Six episodes from a country post-October 7th – in his new film, Elan Kolirin captures the “zeitgeist” in Israel, if indeed it can be considered as such, in the form of an existentialist and absurd portrait, oscillating between darkly bitter satire and surreal homages to film history. A tragicomedy about space, time, cinema, love and war, at once detached from and rooted in a dislocated reality.
