When schoolteacher Miriam (Kelly Curtis) nearly hits an old man (Herbert Lom) with her car, she invites him to recuperate at her house. But he is involved with a satanic sect whose plan relies on a secret well in the cellar of Miriam's house. And while she knows as little about it as she does about that well, Miriam herself will be an integral part of their plan.
