Pasolini comedy starring the last performance of Toto.
Toto and his son follow a crow and encounter a number of individuals representing different parts of Italian society. The crow, being a "left-wing intellectual", also tells the tale of two Franciscan monks who could speak the language of the birds and tried to use it to make sparrows and hawks live together in peace and harmony. Sadly, none of the well-meaning endeavours lead to success.
