Considering all of its absurd ideas, butt plug jokes, martial arts sequences, wobbly eyes and parallel universes, EEAAO is a very moving and charming family film.
Having to face the IRS sets off a series of events for laundry owner Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh), which draw her into a battle across multiple (and very weird) universes.
If one film about a multiverse will still be relevant in 20 years time, it will be this one.
