Darlings
The majority of dialogue was developed during filming and the village idyll captured in naturalistic, desaturated, and shaky images were shot with a hand-held camera.
Primary school teacher Lena, together with her boyfriend Ole and his younger brother, travels back to the small village the brothers grew up in. Lena soon finds the atmosphere there unpleasant and threatening while Ole regresses to his younger, less pleasant, self.
