Ironically, the only customer who is willing to pay is a man who is obsessed with pregnant women. The situation becomes even more complicated because this man makes Huyen so happy that she almost forgets that there is a baby growing inside of her. Filmed against the dismal backdrop of the Berlin periphery, "Sunday Menu" offers a poetic look into the emotional world of a German-Vietnamese teenager as she confronts generational andcross-cultural conflicts through the ritualistic power of food.
