As she escapes from the party celebrating her (unwanted) engagement, 19-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) follows a white rabbit and falls down a hole to Wonderland. Here she takes part in the tea party of the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), butts heads with the big-headed and beheading-loving Red Queen (Helena Bonham-Carter) and has to vanquish the dreaded Jabberwock.
