Bringing a continuation and refinement of her coven-meets-cult dynamics, Camp depicts a fever dream of unlikely community support in the face of complex trauma and grief. A film with rare and uncomfortable emotional rawness, incongruities, and ambivalent sisterhood and mentorship among outsiders in the remote margins, Camp is a singularly dark and hopeful tale that flirts with and discards resolution and redemption.
