Shigeharu Aoyama, a widower looking for a new wife is aided by his best friend, a film producer. By pretending to audition actresses for a film, Shigeharu soon meets the shy but interesting Asami. But there is something mysterious about the young woman and the more her past comes to light, the more Shigeharu regrets attracting her attention.
